It is possible that this might have been better in the long run for us. With all the support we have, and plenty of republicans speaking publicly favorably.

The problem is that now, the hawks will have much more time to assembly and decry any efforts as amnesty. We had momentum, the kind that does not last 6 months. This will put a lot of people who could possibly support the cause under the radar, conservative attacks etc... in the end making it politically impossible for some of these republicans to support the cause.

I really hope he blames the media tomorrow for fake news. I hope it's all just a plot to prove the media are the bad guys.

I think if Trump were to really end it, why not say it now? After all, the news already spreaded all over. Unless he has some kind of plot twist, that's the only reason I can see for him to wait tomorrow.

Time after time, Congress members have repeated that relief for childhood arrivals should have been legislative.
Legislation is ready. Here's your chance.

Guys, look at your state's legislators' media feeds and see who is out there ready to vote. If they are not, and they are Democrat, they have no excuse!

This 6mo. delay will be used as a tactic to erase momentum for DreamAct. But only if we allow it

Keep calling, tweeting, faxing, and posting your request to put DreamAct to a vote.

If someone were to renew their DACA today, they'd get a 2 year window and we all know that Trump will be gone in 2020 and the next president is likely to bring DACA back, so it should give people a small gap at most.

Its funny reading all these extremely optimistic posts to the point of being unrealistic.

It's also funny seeing all these pessimistic posts with having no knowledge or having heard the official statement.

Can't say I'm surprised, we were on borrowed time the day this clown got elected. I felt sight of relief for a while there but then Texas had to fuck it up. Hate to tell others I told you so, but I told you so.

In any case, slim chance this was a "leak" to feel the public response? If the Legislative branch cares, they better push for something NOW so that people forget the way republicans voted come 2018. IF it's dragged on, nil chance they'll risk their incumbency by upsetting the base.

I wonder if they'll be taking renewals all the way until 6 months from now? Feel like sending my renewal early for shit's and giggles.
