Anyone from August still not approved? NSC - Page 35

If anyone gets thru to an agent please ask them why there are people in August not approved while there are people that did their apps in Novermber and are approved.

I put this:

On August 15, 2012, I filed for Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (I-821D) along with an Application for Employment Authorization, I-765 (c)(33) category. It has been 110 days since filing and my case has not been adjudicated. The case status is "initial review" on the USCIS website. I have called the NCSC without avail. On November 14, I placed a service request by calling the NCSC. I received a letter stating that my case is being worked on, and that I should receive a response within 6 months. While I understand that individual cases may take longer than expected, I'm concerned, as other I-821D applicants who filed in August have had their cases adjudicated for quite some time. Some in September, and most by the end of October. I believe that I meet all the requirements for both applications and I have sent sufficient evidence to support it. I request assistance from the Ombudsman in investigating the status of my case and that my case be expedited, if possible. I'm facing severe financial difficulties, as I urgently need an EAD in order to work and support myself. Thank you.

I read about it at the visajourney forum. Some people there had apps taking long to process. It seems to have worked for most ppl there.

From what ppl there said, the Ombudsman's office will call USCIS and ask for the status of the case and the reason why it is taking longer to process. They wont try to bullshit the Ombudsman's office since they are dealing with another federal agency. Hopefully that will be enough to make USCIS pull up the case and deal with it.

If it doesn't work we have to wait for the 6 months to pass... (2 more months). Then we can file a writ of mandamus, which will force USCIS to reach a decision within 30 days by law.
