Sorry, yes I am under Initial Review.

Just did my biometric today (didn't walk in, scheduled on time). My appointment was at 12, but I went in like 11:20. Whole process took me like 10 minutes as there were nobody ahead of me. lol
My EAD expires on end of October at least I do have more than 2 months left..

Well mine expires around mid-Oct, so I have a bit more than 2 months left as well, and my biometrics appointment is tomorrow morning. I just checked case status on USCIS website, and both are on initial review. There was also this section at the bottom that lets you know of the average time each case is approved or process. For the 821D, it was an average of 6 months, but the 765, the average was 90 days. So for those who said (forgot which post) that previous individuals who got the EAD right before their current ones expired, this might not apply to us, since those individuals probably did not have to file for the 821D as well and probably applied for the EAD through other means.

However, the category of 821D did not state whether it was a renewal or not, so I'm under the impression that the 6 months timeline would be for initial applications. It still doesn't make sense for them to take 6 months to process a 1 page application -_- without need for additional evidence and files to go through. Here's hoping that we're just a couple weeks away from seeing the first wave of approvals being sent out. If I don't see anything by end of August, I will cal in to request for an extension, because this is just ridiculous.

Not sure if this has been asked/answered but I live in NYC and last time my case was processed in Vermont Center (talking about applying for DACA first time). This time around while re-applying, I received a notification through email/text saying my case has been received and has been sent to Nebraska center from Illinois. Is this correct/normal?

If you've been routed to Nebraska it means you case has been referred to ICE.

Why would they refer it to ICE? I haven't committed any crime or anything.

He's been a bit sarcastic with his comments. If you see the past posts, almost half of the applications have been routed to Nebraska; even people living in the northeast.
