How Long thus it take to get a Bio appointment after they received it, they sent me a receipt that they received it on the 9th but I haven't heard anything from them since then. How can I get ELIS account?

What do i do now?
All state, city, and government agencies are the same. Incompetent! I work as a structural engineer. and I have to go to the city and submit structural drawings for approval. once I went to the building department in LA and the lady approving the drawings literally fell asleep in front of me while approving stuff. I had to nudge her and to stamp the damn drawing.

Went this morning to my ASC to walk-in but was rejected by the manager because there were too many people. I told him I didn't mind waiting but he said no and to come back later. Went back around 1:30 PM and was in and out in 5 minutes. I literally filled up the form and on the way to my seat was called up. Manager did tell me that doing walk-ins wouldn't speed up your process (something I'm sure we talked about before on this forum), nonetheless, won't hurt.
It doesn't?? Seems to me like doing a walk-in does seem to generally help in getting them to start reviewing an application faster.

Just go to DMV and go ahead with the process.
When my parent did it, they gave the temp license on the spot and got the actual one coupe weeks later.

It's supposed to be automated and your supposed to receive before 30 days but as you can see lots of us didn't receive in time. It took mine 75 days but everyone is different. You sent in about 20 days ago, no need to freak out yet.

Normally you would get biometrics within 4 weeks of submitting your application, IF you're fortunate. However, if you are not, then it's up in the air how long. Some people here have been waiting for months and still don't have them.

You create an ELIS account after receiving an online access code in the mail. Some receive it with their biometrics, others receive it separately (like I did).

I think he's full of shit. I've seen many people on here that do their bios early via walk-ins and get approved faster. So I'm sticking to my belief that it does help, otherwise I too am screwed.

Usually people receive bios within a week after receipts, this year it's been way different, some get it fast and some bios aren't getting scheduled for months.

go to the link below and make an account. after that call the 800 number that's on your receipts, they'll give you about 9 options, it's one of the first 4 I think, the one about application information, you'll be asked to put in the receipt number. after that press the number to talk to a live person, after getting a live person ask to be transferred to the ELIS help desk, hopefully it's quick.

Once you get an ELIS person on the phone tell them you need the access code because you never received one through mail, they'll ask you personal info to confirm identity. Then you will get a code and just put that code into your account that you created, your USCIS account will now be linked.

Code:
