I'm sending them in tomorrow morning. Does anyone remember if they use your biometrics photo or the passport photo we send in on their EAD? I'm guess maybe because of the elis data loss they could of lost our biometrics photo and then our passport photo was not of quality?

Wait, did you get a request to send it too? What are you going to send along with it? (i.e reason of it being sent)

I'm going to say I was told their might be an issue with my photos. Does not hurt to try, if the issue is something else they will also let us know.

They replied to my SR on 9/23.

I believe they use the passport photo that we send in. I figured the biometrics photo was to compare and verify your identity with the ones you submit. Are you really going to send the photos without confirming that that's your issue?

What else could be holding up the card production? It has to be that. Plus I have a copy of my original photos from the lady that did them accidentally printed more and they are ehh quality.

They act like photo on our EAD is in hd or something lol

Are you going to attach a written explanation for why you're resubmitting your passport photos?

Ahhh yes same here; i got a response to my SR on 9/23 and wasnt told anything in the response regarding photos, just that my EAD is still in production.

So are you sending your photo as well?

It could also be the fingerprints - one of the agents that initially told me there was an issue with my EAD production told me it could be the pictures or the fingerprints.

I checked both my previous work permits and they used the pictures from the Biometrics - I think the passport ones are used as a back up.

Also note that the information about the issue being with my pictures did not come from an electronically generated SR (on elis) but rather from one that one of the tier 2 reps created - which usually start with a diff preffix than the ones on elis and end with NCS.
