Hey guys so I received my receipt - how long until the next step and which one of those steps allows me to acquire a social security number?

I applied for DACA last year, I was denied after waiting 11 long months.. I reapplied, this time around I was approved.. For those who r still waiting and who have been denied ," Our stories may be singular, but our destination is shared", don't give up.

I just checked my case status and it says that my work authorization card is in production but my deferred action is still in initial review. Is this common? What exactly does this mean? I'm beyond happy right now that I got approved

Hi Roccat I just got the email saying my work authorization card is in production but like you I checked the status for my deferred action and it still says initial review.. Is this normal? Does getting the work permit means we also got approved for deferred action?

Never mind I got the text message for daca approval the next day so exciting as soon as I get my card ima go to apply for my social and then my license

Why were you denied the first time? For the second time you applied, did you do something different or did you just submit an application as if it were the first time ?

Just got approved. Application received on december 2nd, biometrics mid january, and I just got accepted Feb 16th. Little over 2 months wait. So happy <3
