I just called and tier 1 told me to do infopass.
Called again and asked for tier 2, tier 2 told me he could do something but ELIS is down right now.
Will try again tomorrow.

I followed up with Shiu-Ming and she told me that they flagged my case (I didn't get an email either). She said that if I don't hear from USCIS by the end of the week to let her know.

I found this article online. It was posted on August 18th.

Recently, USCIS announced certain Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) cases filed between February 14, 2016 and May 14, 2016 have been delayed due to technical issues. USCIS officials advised these cases were placed on temporary hold while the technical issues were resolved. Case processing has now been fully restored.

I haven't done it but thought about it. Based on the article it seems that these attorneys have some inside information since they state that it has been fully restored. I think it is worth a shot. I think I will give it a try.

I was reading an article on ELIS and electronic filling. Apparently when we are allowed to efile for ELIS we will have the option of being able to make changes to our applications as long as it's before adjudication. This is primarily why they are changing the way we file. Also, if you get an RFE it might go faster since we can upload evidence directly on ELIS.
