I was very hesistant in applying for DACA because I had a run-in with the police when I was like 15 for petty theft and I thought that that was going to prevent me from getting it. I think the theories I've heard here about people with a tab marked "criminal history/past offenses" in their DACA packet are automatically put on a pile that gets the lowest priority when it comes to getting looked at, regardless of the degree of the offense. I also think that people in their late 20's or people that are married get it faster than others. Here's my timeline:

Nebraska Center
sent packet: 4/16/2013
received: 4/18/2013
biometric appointment: 5/22/2013 (no walk-in)
*sent 2 e-requests*
accepted: 2/26/2014

I hope you guys get approved soon and just keep your mind occupied. The fact that a few people have been waiting 1.5 years+ is mind boggling to me. Like, it does not compute AT ALL and i really sympathize with you guys. I genuinely thought that that was going to be me too in a few months. I have a question though. I got an e-mail for my I-765 about the card being in production but my I-821D just said that my name was being updated. Is this normal?
