Hola,
I send a personal check from my bank. The lady that help me fill out my application said that it would be fine and I could easily track it down, so ill now when it gets cashed. I also send my application and all the paperwork in an yellow envelope through certified mail.

Good afternoon all,

I have been wondering, after been approved for your EAD you must apply for a SSN, correct?
So for the SSN application, do I need a non-expired passport?

I am wondering because I have my passport appointment until November 30th. I have not been approved for EAD, yet. I'm just trying to be correctly informed regarding the steps to take.

P.s. I have a visa and passport but both have expired.

Thank you for your attention and help.

Technically the passport is not valid once it has expired, you will need a valid unexperied passport. Do you have another identification card such as Consulate/Matricula card that is not expired?

depends. I suggest you get a lawyer to consult this.

1. Was he here on june 15th 2012?
2. does he have evidence for 2007-2012?

But I doubt it because ICE has already deported him

lawyer ain't going to help shit. you just need to have all the evidence. you know how it is.

if he is not here because he got deported just forget it. they keep records and take prints so uscis might know what happened to him so you can't even fraud his papers.

I have some questions. What if you came in with a B1/B2 visa but do not have or lost the i-94 and exclude it from the application packet? Has anyone gone through this experience? I searched the 3 Q&A threads and nothing helpful came up. Would my passport and US visa satisfy the "lawful entry" requirements? I also noticed thatI have a stamped seal on my visa but not an official "Hi, welcome to the US" entry stamp, just departures ones from my country. I came in early 90s so I am curious if this is normal for a B/2 visa of the time. This is the only question troubling me. Other than that I am set to send my stuff in!

i came with a b1/b2 visa and for me I had the visa in my passport. The ugly USA one.
I also had a i-94 with a stamped date and place.
They also stamped and dated again in another part of my passport.

The visa proves unlawful status as of june 15th 2012 but i'm not sure about i-94 because I still had mine.
