no i did not have any type of criminal record. i am 100% free of any record. i had a ticket for driving without a license but that is not considered a crime according to the differed action rules. well i hope you get approved soon. if your lawyer said it was okay to apply then your set

ok so again why were you placed in removal of proceedings ?

Just curious...if you are deportation proceedings...they give a letter or something that tells you that you're being deported right?

Because my case was denied 2009, then we appealed and was denied last year...but they never sent an order to deport me. My lawyer spoke with an immigration officer that said that I won;t be deported because I'm not a threat to security and have no record...unless I somehow get in there radar.

well pretty much if u ever been in the custody of ice is what leads to being in removal of proceedings

Well you would receive a letter from a BIA judge (the one who was handling your case). The fastest way to check if you have an order against you or not is to call, input your A# into the automated system and it will give you all of the details and the final decision made.
