N00b, I said that specific question is only for does who went skydiving, not the whole thread. Thanks for your input regarding my topic in a thread that's about marriage. If you want to share your thoughts, go to the thread I've created that is SPECIFICALLY about skydiving. Thank you very much. (I still love you btw cuz you are my fellow dreamer)

YES, you can most definitely marry a USC if you came to the US illegaly. The leaving the country thing and getting the ten year ban only applies if you are not covered under 245i, and if you are going to leave the country after your spouse petitions you. Some aren't comfortable leaving the US so they don't go through with the process; they just get married.

Also, to waive the ten (or three) year ban, your USC spouse can file an i601 waiver after you return to your country.

All you need to get married (in most counties) is a your country's passport and birth certificate. If you are given a hard time, try another county.
