I fly a lot for work/leisure (more than 80 individual flights this year) and I will never contribute or give a dime to a state that promotes hatred. Since the passage of Arizona anti-brown people law, I have always made sure that I don't fly into, or connect thru Arizona - or even fly with US Airways (based in Arizona).. the hatred of their government there towards the minority is the first reason why I don't go there.
So to the OP, avoid Arizona if you could. You don't want to contribute to their economy. Is it safe? Yes, it should be if they do not find out about your status. If any security gets suspicious and hateful, then it can turn ugly for you.
If anyone needs opinion from a frequent flier or traveling, message me, and I will be glad to help.. Sometimes I get discounts/vouchers for air travel that are transferable... I'll be happy to help a dreamer who needs it..

And for those who's asking the person that I paid to help me with the address, written test, road test, insured car etc.
they're chinese/korean and they don't know how to speak english. so if you don't know how to speak chinese or korean it's kinda hard to communicate with them.
But if you do and you want their contact number or office location, tell me I'll give you the contact number and office location

Hey, so this was some time ago but..was there a high fee for changing your flight?
I just realized that I'll be changing planes in Phoenix too and thought at first it didn't matter much you brought it to my attention that this may not be a great idea *sigh*

So when changing terminals this is what I found on their website

" If you are connecting from one flight to the next on the same airline, you may remain behind security. Your connecting flight will be in the same terminal.

If you are connecting to a flight on another airline, you may have to change terminals." http://skyharbor.com/airlinesflights...ingplanes.html

Both my flights are with the same airline..which means, according to this, that I won't have to change terminals..correct? :/

Generally yes, $150 to change it, PLUS difference in fare if any . Only Southwest does not charge a fee.

Are you flying US Airways? No, you don't change terminal. I hope you're not flying in/out of PHX late in the afternoon. If your flight gets canceled/delayed, you might have to come out of the airport for a night, and go back thru security the next morning.
