Dreamers, Per Senator Durbin, god bless his soul, he cannot do this by himself. Lets all pledge to make 50 x calls each day, help yourself and by that help your fellow dreamer Now again, we are all very motivated, kindly let Durbin + Reid work the formula to get 60 votes that is their job, our job is to keep calling on our target list, lets continue working for what we believe is our fundamental right, a chance at life. Dream
Act FTW!!!!!!!!

We must be aware that there are Anti's out there mass mobilizing to defeat this, and that is why we must continue to fight for this!

I am such a klutz. In this list, I forgot two Democrats, so I am going to add them now.

58. Harkin
59. Landrieu

That means, according to my guesswork, DREAM has 59 good yes votes. However, I have to immediately add that I could be wrong. I am particularly worried about numbers 54 and 55 on my list (Collins and Murkowski). My advice to Dreamers is to amp up the pressure on those two. And also amp up the pressure on others not on the list, but who are within reach (Baucus, Manchin, Ensign, Brownback, and Voinovich).

If I am wrong about Collins, Murkowski, or both, make up for it with those remaining five I mention. My hunch tells me that the easiest of the five to get would be Ensign. Manchin and Voinovich are complete wild cards, and pressure should be put on them like crazy.

Murkowski is probably a yes. She really has nothing to fear since she just beat a strong Tea Party candidate who had the full support of the GOP as a write in.

Better put more pressure on these senators then. Let's make those calls, faxes and emails.

Ensign should learn from Harry Reid (as they are both from Nevada).

There are two Nelsons in the Senate. Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Nebraska) is a definite no, but Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Florida) is a definite yes.

Is there any indication that Collins might vote for the Dream Act? Last time I've heard Snowe was a definite no due to ridiculous reasons. Don't they kinda vote together?
