So can I bring a bank statement or deposit receipt and get that notarized?

I got a random document that I got from school notarized. Although I'm a little confused bc the document is dated 5/32/12, so I asked the notary to put down today's date, so it can be certain that I got this document notarized today. But she only wrote it down in pen (thought it would be stamped in or something), so I'm not sure if this document (even though notarized) can effectively prove that I was here on this date.

Can you properly get a school transcript paper notarized? Will the school do that or do you have to go somewhere?

I remember I had to do this to get my passport, they stamped it with that days date. Unfortunately its been 4 years that i've been out of school, not to mention it is summer vacation now.

I don't have a bank account but I could make one.. but all this back and forth happiness and now worrying just gave me a massive headache. ugh
