That sounds about right. Reviewing an application doesn't take long, but I err on the side that it takes a while for any government official to do anything depending what protocols are in place.

Say you had a September 15 biometrics appointment. Then 14 days initial BG check complete. Then I821D review starts. Mid-October, confirmed application. Two weeks later, EAD. Just in time for November elections, lol (viva Obama!)

I completely think that's feasible.

LOL, do you think that each person is going to do one app a day? That would be HILARIOUS to me!

Even then, we would know on this forum since most of us were go-getters, posted up all over the post-office on August 15th.

Hell, that's even better. But I think I got the 500 from Ianus when he posted about the bulletin from USCIS needing to hire workers.

If Brown's intention was to lower the requirements so those of us with an approved deferred action can join then we would definitely not need an SSN.

No number was release by USCIS.

As can be seen in this article. Immigration groups, who are guessing or heard it from off the record, who knows, say about 1400 more agents would be hire to offset processing.

Well since a new set of 1000+ USCIS officers were hired, the process may be shorter.

We'll just see how it goes for the first wave of applicants.

You gotta have faith, my friend!

Even if they only hired 20 workers per office, I'm pretty sure we'd find out via other Dreamers on this forum how quick things are.

Remember, the turn around time for apps was like 3 - 5 days? Mine was two days. They did an initial scan of my app and confirmed that everything was correct within 2 days. It wasn't two weeks like people initially thought.

Although the post office has been bootleg about sending notices and the like, everything has been dated and sent in from USCIS within a very timely manner. The dated letter for my biometrics appointment was two days after the I797C.

I'm pretty sure Obama is hoping for the first wave to start around October 15ish - November.. Would definitely energize some votes.

I swear, I feel like I'm the only one who feels this way. I need to make some bets with people on this board so I can make some money back from that app fee!

I do but anxiety is getting the best of me... I've never hated weekends and holidays as much as I do now... just waiting for that LUD update checking every 15 mins....

It makes sense... I would be much better if someone got their approval before the convention so Obama can bring them on stage like this is an undocumented person which received a DACA approval see they don't bite...
