in Illinois a lawyer wanted to charge me $300 plus the application fee
its not a lot but i didnt have the money back then just the app fee
i wanted to do it with the lawyer because i know how good he is but im very
confident ill get approve i filled the app myself
i did my bio last week so waiting on an answer

The good thing about having an attorney is that they fill out the G-28 form and basically helps you out in the event that USCIS sees something wrong with the application. They also comb through your application to make sure that you didn't make any mistakes.

But Durbin and Guttierez were right when they said that the whole process can be done by yourself.

I paide 750 plus filing fees in TN, I'm going to my biometrics appointment on Wed.

Did you do a walk-in for you Biometrics?
