Omg I was just thinking about this yesterday... Thank you for putting the thread up.
Since my ead Ive applied in one place only, it was a major Insurance company in the state I live in. Sure enought I was called. I had 1st interview yesterday. Office manager wasnt sure about hiring me so he need it 2nd opinion. Right now I was supposted to be interviewing with the regional coach. It was a commision pay thing. With income of up to 70,000 a year. (if you were the best in sales that is) Last night I email them and thank them for their time but I wasnt planning on wasting anymore due to the fact that office manager said hed only like me cause he like my Idea of passing flyers on swaapmeet and getting business that way. No thanks. I too want a job where I can be appreciated as a human being and not just a making money machine. Anything is possible but I wasnt gonna give up my family for a company in which sales goals were not met 2 months in a row be kicked out. So i'll just keep looking. =) God has provided and he will keep doing so.

Yeah, im currently a csr for a small insurance agency and deal directly with the broker and ofcourse my hispanic people whom I adore. But oh boy was it complicated with this major company. From now on I will too avoid these type of jobs. I'll keep looking whitin my customer service skills area instead.

I have a part time job, I work at a Polish Deli in the same town. I didn't need a Social Security card or EAC. I get paid under the table, it's $9 an hour but I honestly hate it there!

A little bit, most receptionist or Front Desk or something like that, but I didn't do too much of job hunting, I just find the ads on craigslist but I don't think thats very effective. I think I should just apply in person to the places I'm interested in, but I'm not sure what yet. I would want something like front desk, receptionist, or something easy haha
