Yep, some people can just be so F$%^&*() stupid to realize what is happening.

If so, I know the feel. I was dumped in the past because my status was an issue, given my then-girlfriends family and personal political values. It made me feel like shit cause I expected better, an she pretended to be okay with it for several months.

For a while I thought I shouldn't have said anything, but it would have been a stupid secret to keep.

Stay strong, brothers.

Crap. That sucks . . .

Well, if you have been approved and she knows about it, I am sure she regrets it, especially if you were nice to her.

I have to admit and happyman also posted on this on the original love thread. We had a discussion about dating other dreamers. I have been very hesitant in the past (I'm hesitant with everybody but that is beside the point). I think we said we didn't want to be stuck in the same boat. But, My mind has changed especially now. I mean I will be able to have a car soon. We no longer have to worry about one of us getting deported and we can have better jobs.

I apologize if I indirectly offended you. But, damn. People . . .stop over-analyzing shit. Times are changing. DACA , as is, is huge relief. CIR will happen. Do not dwell on status because you are missing out on amazing people.

Personally, I prefer a dreamer.

No, not at all. I was just recalling the conversation we had. I'm just admitting that a year ago I would have rather kept single status. Now that things are changing is different.

Yeah, things were different a year ago. I was even in suicide mode O_o. So, I understand.

But, times are different now. Consider it. Really do.

I don't know if anybody else has mentioned this, but I don't think her parents give a shit whether you're a law breaker or not. It's very very simple: They don't like you, because if she marries you, you can't get her a green card. Any mention of the law is purely self serving on their part because you have more rights under DACA than their precious little virgin has under the F1 visa.
