Chill out, when did I say or even imply that I was "satisfied" with satisfactory? Just search for some of the things Fox achieved, and you will see he has done more for the country the the past damn presidents. You ask for backup yet you post about "political consensus" about him being ineffective. Maybe you should also state the "political consensus" that both houses were divided into three, just look at what happened when Calderon took power and HOW he had to take it. I'm Mexican, trust me, I don't like Fox either, never really did like him, also thought of his 6 year term as a very small step forward, but if you look it from a different perspective you see a rather radical change in the fact that the party change, you must really know Mexican politics to know this...and about the racist tone towards Evo, I think I would of noticed, since I would back Evo more than Fox, I disliked how Fox said "terrible", etc.

I didn't spot a single tone of racism towards Evo, he said Evo is indigenous, which he is, and Evo doesn't speak English, and Evo does speak a dialect, which is Ketchua I believe. He was not useless at all, one president alone cannot change a country and the history of it, yet Fox made a tremendous change, by the mere fact that he was from a different political party. Many people will pass bad judgment on him and his government and yet fail to back it up. I think he did a satisfactory job, and the one that is surpassing my expectations is Felipe Calderon, but that's another story.
First of all is said that in the tone he said it seemd to me to be racist and maybe it doesn't some that way to you and thats fine. And beinghtat you say that Fox did a satisfatory job... please back it up. Just because he was from a different party doesn't mean he was better. i Also i believe there is concensus amonghte political analyst in Mexico that he was not a effective leader since he was unable to pass any significant legislation do to the fact that he alienated the opposition in both houses.... But i may be mistaken so please let me know what was so satisfactory about his presdency.... and its sad you are content with satisfactory
