That is the same thing i ask myself. I would think they would be done by now since things have slowed down, but instead they've done the opposite.

Another possibility is a package simply toss aside and forgotten.

Which makes think whether your package moves along depends on how well your stuff is made or how "memorable" it is. My folder where everytime was pink with yellow. I made it thinking "i want something to distinguish mine from other packages"

I'm pretty sure when mine arrived they remove the folder , took the evidence out , copied them and then threw away the pink and yellow folder away. Or maybe once they made copies they put back the originals into the same folder. Either way it's easier to address something by something differently. Or at least even for a few seconds they thought of that. " oh hey an odd looking folder "
I do get the feeling sometimes that my packet might be under a desk or being used as a cup holder. The person could also be pretty damn racist or against DACA. I don't know what to think anymore. I sent my packet in a bright red folder. I put every thing in chronological order. I even put those little bright post it tabs so that they would know exactly where everything was. I made sure it was perfect because i didn't want to screw this opportunity up, but know i don't feel as confident as i did.

How did you assemble your applications? I've looked at some friend's applications and the way they've set them up are kind of weird and difficult to follow. On of them took almost 7 months. I have yet to see one that's actually set in mostly chronological order.

I would think that is also a reason why they are taking there sweet ass time. We can guess all we want but we will never know because they don't care about answering our questions.

I would have no idea about that. All i know is I don't have established credit. Maybe if you ask the person who asked me the question he might know the answer

I'm sorry, then.
It's terrible that they make you wait so long. Have you considered resending your application with an explanation? My GF did that after 7 months. I believe she got a reply about a month afterwords.

It sucks to know that many people will start applying to renewal there permit and stuff and people like me are still waiting to get approved.
i would be lying if id say i understand your frustration. i alreaady went to Mexico with Advance Parole and ive done lots of things with my permit. uscis needs to approve ppl who have been waiting over 6 months, they could of done so much like many of us that have the EAD. smh

I'm a week shy of ten months, and I can't stop feeling depressed about my situation, especially since I've had to postpone almost everything I had planned for the second part of 2013 (I applied in April, so I thought I would be approved by August).

I just think that there are stacks with some applications that have 'problems' to be looked 'later' or when 'security checks' are received, and somehow, the USCIS officer forgets about those piles. Like I've stated many times, it's simple, either a person qualifies and gets approved or he doesn't and gets denied, and that shouldn't take more than three months. Unfortunately applications aren't approved in the way they are received either, that would make a big difference.

The only thing I've been able to do is somewhat focus in school and trying to keep on going. I have a job that I want to quit because I can't stand the environment, and not being able to do so is putting a lot of stress in myself, which brings frustration and depression.

Let's hope February and March gets all of us waiting more than six months approved.
