Its crazy how similar your story is to mine! I came here in 1989 as well, and I also left the country and came back, I'm not worried about my leave too much, from what I understand under the first daca, if you left prior to 2007...this does not affect your contineous presence, which should be from june 2007 - june 2012. you just need to establish residency right after you entered like enrolling in school for a few years etc.

Yea, I have it all down on my transcripts. Next year, I'm going to go buy me some nice suits and go get me a job. There are one or two quarters where I didn't attend school, but I'm sure I can get bank statements or the like for those months. Other than that, I have continuous records of being in the US. I don't think it will be a problem. I even my have old DL when they use to be given in California; i miss having my own car. I cannot believe it!!!

We are going to have to make it happen by continuing to fight and educate people. So far, what I've done is to turn repubs in favor of immigration reform. Muahaha. Hey, I sent you a private message, read it when you have time.

So, the process is going to be like, apply for DACA, get fingerprints taken, get work authorization, then SSN, and then DL? I wonder how much it would be in total to get DL for someone who's never driven a car...

Yes the process is going to be exactly like DACA because this is still deferred action
