If you're still waiting to receive a response about your case (mine was received july 15th, 2014) Go and talk to your local congressman (hoping he/she is a democrat lol). Today i figured i was wasting my time with the USCIS customer service. The staff at my congressman's office knew exactly what to do. the lady who helped me managed to get in touch with USCIS. She made them write to the agent who is currently in charge of my case to come with a decision asap.
If your case is currently with an agent, it is a matter of days before you get a response.
good luck!

So yours is almost 6 months pending. Is your employer harassing you or did you lose your job due to the delay? Thanks

I work for an university so my contract reopens next week, the 16th (once the semester begins) If I don't get a response by then, I'll get a leave of absence, which allows me to go back next fall (September)

Go to the following link below and enter your residential zip code. It will pull up your congressman/woman.

http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/

Go to their website and look for something like "constituent services" and follow thru with instructions there. They will likely require a disclosure/consent form to be signed by yourself. And then they will inquire with USCIS about any delays. Good luck!

Anybody cutting it really close to their expiration date, or past expiration should definitely take Prof88's advice. I contacted my senator on 12/24 and congressman on 1/8. I know for a fact this week my senator put in multiple calls and I was just approved today. Note: I had expired on 12/30

Good morning guys, this morning I got a text messages from USCIS saying that my case has been updated. So I went to the website and they approved my DACA and EAD after a month and a half of my DACA expiring. Hang in there guys, your turn is coming.

Thank you for sharing this information.
1. When would you suggest contacting the congressman/woman? How far from the expiration?

2. Also I have a quick question regarding the renewal process. After the biometrics, am I supposed to received a letter to check the status of my case?
