You can ask the judge. I asked judge and he let me do it. You might get rejected though so keep that in mind. Take the risk though it's better to work a couple of hours rather than to pay $500 plus. Let us know how it goes and good luck.

Highly doubt it, and certainly would say no.
Remember you also have to pay court fees. My ticket was from the state (highway patrol) so I dont know on local cases =\ or if it may be allowed in your particular state...
