Yesterday was also from 'sources close to transition team'. I think this article is based on those same sources.

A lot of us are expiring in a few months, so I hope that the plan trump mentioned that will "make us very happy" really is introduced in the time they said (two or three months). And if it is introduced, since it's trumps plan, hopefully he will be inclined to bully congress to pass it.
Exactly its open to interpretation, so we just have to wait for their guidance in writing.

I think there are still going to be protests...not only DREAMERS but also women and LGBTQ community. Maybe Muslims?

Key words: "Trump is expected . . . ."

Nothing official. We all expect him to repeal DACA. Question remains when and how? Will he wait for congressional replacement??

Everyone, just wait till he declares something official.

All we have to go on right now are the two things he's officially said on the subject. The first was when he said he "would work something out" for us in his TIME interview, and the second was recently when he said his plans for DREAMers would "make us very happy." I know things look bad and DACA might end tomorrow, but you can't just completely ignore that he said these two things. Remember that whatever immigration plan he comes up with, it will be "trumps official" immigration plan. That means that his ego will be on the line. If his ego is on the line I think we can assume that he will use his bully tactics to ram this through. Right now he is kind of at the top of his power, if he wants to force his version of an immigration bill, even the house republicans will find it hard to say no. I am trying to not be too optimistic/pessimistic about the situation, neither extreme is good.

He is going to repeal based on it's constitutionality. Will he replace it or just let congress come up with something that may fail? Hoping he lets the ead cards expired and during the next 2-3 months they come up with a solution. If nothing happens I doubt he will sign any executive action on a new program or reinstating DACA.
