just take this thread update with a grain of salt. but at the same time use critical thinking to deduce its meaning. its a positive thing they do this though, and it should imply from a policy standpoint that DACA will not be rescinded unless there is a legislative fix from the Congress.

Where are you? get rid of the back and forth between users.
there are threads with more than 3 pages and all they are all just two to three users going at each other.

I wish we could get serious about this guys. Some of us are actually scared for our lives and come on here to see what our future could possibly hold.

This just makes things a little more stressful and really makes us all look immature.

Is there anyone that can do something about this?

I am able to confirm that the Trump admin just agreed to a continuance for someone in removal eligible for DACA. @AntonioArellano
When you are in removal proceedings you are technically going up against the current administration. But not really, you are actually dealing with the Judge in front of you. Judges make decisions supposedly solely based on the law, but they also let their personal beliefs influence them (even though it's not supposed to happen). That's why immigration judges have reputations for being "good" or "bad". That's also why everyone wants to be tried in the 9th circuit and why we fear the 5th circuit.

So the above quote is technically accurate, but also kind of misleading. It's true that "the Trump admin granted a continuance", but it's not like they were up against Trump himself and he said yes. The judge in this case just applied the current law: DACA is still a thing today, we don't know if it will be here tomorrow, let's wait and see what the administration will do with DACA, so continuance granted. If Trump keeps DACA, then the respondent will get another continuance to apply for it. If DACA is canceled then they continue with the Merits of the case and the judge makes a decision. So basically it amounts to the same news we've been getting for weeks: lets wait and see.

Does it mean protection for 2014 Executive Action that ended up 4-4 tie in SC?
