They key here that everyone needs to understand is that ICE went after his dad and he happened to be there. These ICE agents aren't exactly the type that follow instructions. They can do whatever they please. Hope the kid can get out of this mess which I'm sure he will. We need a concrete law to pass very soon.

Ever since trump became president I have been worried that me and my family will get deported and I feel like all this stress is killing me. I have no criminal record and my parents don't I don't know what to do anymore my life is hopeless now. I want to stay in this country and it's not fair that trump wants to take this away from me. What should I do is ICE knocks on my door.

The next question is that did they use the information he provided to find his dad?

I really think its unclear but most likely his dad must have had some sort of record or removal orders. What you're saying is unlikely otherwise there would have been more than just this case. There's tons of DACA beneficiaries out there.

We didn't give any info about our parents for DACA. Unless you currently live with your parents or your parents still live at an address you wrote on your application.

Yes I'm sorry. You're right. I was thinking of another form.

This is actually very true lol. I can't believe I myself was falling for this particular fear mongering that they will use DACA information to come after parents. But even if the address is the same, I still don't see the connection they can make to our parents?

But what if they have a warrant. They could even knock my door down.
