Perception is everything and understanding that is why Dreamers get so much support. A person who speaks English without an accent and raised in the culture is seen as "American" and gets a lot of sympathy. Someone who is in the country for 20 years, doesn't speak English, does not fit culturally gets a lot less sympathy. |
