I do agree that we were brought here as Kids whereas, people on TPS are much like those on H1B etc. They know a country outside of the US and know what they signed up for.
Not just argue, legally, DACA IS a TPS subset! The language in DACA clearly states that we are granted temporary protected status, in the form of deferred action because the immigration system is unable to process our cases. By giving our information, they grant us temporary protected status (protected from deportation) until our cases are adjudicated and we receive due process.

It sucks that they are losing protections but they were not permanent and it shouldn't be a surprise.
Dreamers and TPS people is a false equivalency.

What's your suggestion? Everyone gets to stay?

There is already a TPS thread. Can we please keep this DACA related only.

This is why I think something is going to happen:

Democrats want a daca deal just as bad as trump wants the wall, in fact, I would argue that Trump wants the wall more than the Dems want a daca fix, furthermore, I would venture to say that a stand alone wall bill is nearly impossible to get approved with the current Senate (60 votes would be needed) and even more impossible when and if the Dems take over the house. So we can see this whole spending situation as one of the many opportunities to fix daca or we can see this spending bill as the one and only opportunity for Trump to get his wall.

Legally we are in the same boat. The same people that want relief are more than willing to cut out others for their own benefit. Sounds just like Cubans "wet foot dry foot" which we love to criticize.

"If President Trump could make this happen it would be a historic thing"

He definitely knows how to get to Trump.

No one here has the right to say who gets to stay. What makes you guys feel like you're entitled to anything over Tps dreamers. At the end of the day we're all in the same position cut the selfish talk.

You don't get it, some people are literally salivating for the moment they can say "got mine fuck you" and vote conservative for life.
