Can someone please explain to me what a shut down would accomplish for us? Will the DA automatically be called for a vote? Will trump sign it? Etc etc

Schumer want cloture tonight so it will fail, so they will pass CR tomorrow with 5 days extension so a deal can be made on dreamer. Pass CR one week at a time is good for us, it keeps pressure going on. NOT six weeks extension, momentum will be gone before we know it.

Sen. McConnell says we're waiting for the President to articulate what he's for, so we can finalize a bipartisan deal.
