Trump wants the wall, we want protection for all Dreamers. Again, start by protecting all Dreamers and then let's mobilize for elections. Democrats do have leverage. Use it and fight for Dreamers!
Thank you, you are one of the few people that is making sense right now.

Dems are happy that SCOTUS adds delay allowing ppl to get +2 years.

After NOV 2018, Dems will control HOUSE. From now til Nov, this is last chance for Trump to get ANY legislation done, WALL, GUN CONTROL, or INFRASTRUCTURE.

As long as SCOTUS doesn't kill DACA, Dems will just do nothing until they get the house.
There is no guarantee Dems will get back congress.

Democrats have to either use leverage or cave. They are just as blameworthy for the inaction. Not pressuring them and kissing their asses only makes us their bitches.

srsly how can you be this dense?

are these the talking point that ur org provides for you? honestly all your posts are scripted as fuck.

and to the point that u say they have not been negotiating.. you are lying about this.

Gang of Six Bill was negotiated = Failed
McCain-Coons Bill was negotiated = Failed
Rounds-Schumer-Collins Bill was negotiated = Failed

Leverage = Pelosi tried to attach a Dream Act to the CR in the House but Paul Ryan wasnt having any of it because he controls the House procedures.

how can you not get it thru ur thick head that Democrats can negotiate all they want but they are not in control of the legislative agenda and procedures?

Yeah i always thought she was a little unreasonable. But the point she made about not waiting till elections is the thing i agree with because nothing is guaranteed.

at this point bro, we might not have a choice in the matter.

best thing im hoping for is that SCOTUS will rule on our side.

Democrats can negotiate all they want but it will be shot down everytime because Republicans are in the majority, thats just the harsh truth.

and the fact dtrt09 is lying about Democrats not negotiating is misplaced and providing wrong information here.

THEY NEGOTIATED MULTIPLE TIMES and SHUTDOWN THE GOVT but it doesnt matter cause they dont control the agenda.

if something passes for us this cycle, it will be on Republicans' terms and will harm the rest of the immigrant community.

The optimism - I give you an applaud. But realistically, not going to happen. Passing a bill to protect just 800,000 is hard enough, try 2M (or more), not gonna happen at all.
