There are plenty people here who expire well outside of the 150 day mark, including some in 2019, who have applied and their applications are being processed, myself included. I applied with 208 days left until expiration and will be going to my Biometrics appointment tomorrow. USCIS would not take your $495 dollars and not process your case. If an application were to be rejected due to a filing error, it would be rejected at the lockbox and your check would never be cashed.

Some people think lawyers are always correct or they know more than us.

People do not trust lawyers, they are scammers.

I expire in April 2019. Already applied and had my Biometrics done. Ive never hired a lawyer, im lucky my case is simple. Most lawyers are telling people to not apply outside the 150 day mark, its all bullshit, people need to get a sense of urgency man, if SC ends DACA we lose our jobs, our livelihood. These lawyers prey on peoples ignorance. Stay woke!

If you're in the fence on sending your renewal early or not, it's totally your decision. That way I see is it is that worst case scenario they'll send it back and maybe take your $500. I'm not trying to be condescending but to me $500 it's nothing compared to getting 2 more years. Most likely you will still be able to apply later this year but I'm not risking it.

I sent mine at 200ish days.

I renewed after being expired in Last July, quite a break. My reason for not renewing last year: financial problems and not being paid on time!
