More dem = more likely Dems will get majority status = Dems control the agenda.

As we experienced in 2013 with Boehner, that makes a huge difference. I probably hate his guts more than I hate people like Steves, King or Miller.

Hope Democrats aren't dumb enough to say yes to this crap extension. Let him go into midterms with no wall victory.

You want to tell me this is right of center?

I haven't found any instances where he rejects DACA. Makes sense he didn't talk about it since his district is 96%+ white. This does not mean he is right of center.
Hmmm...I will make up my own mind once I do more research.

Undocumented immigrants are more than Daca. Dreamers are not only people with Daca.

LOL!

Some of you guys are willing to wait till midterms?? And then after midterms wait another 2 years??

No wonder Dicky Durbin has been in congress "pushing" for the same thing for over 17 years with no results.

Hear, hear.

I'm a Dreamer, but I don't have DACA. Don't forget about the little people y'all.

That is right of center, considering the crazed left socialist.

The list is literally right here from his website:

https://conorlamb.com/priorities/

I wasn't talking about his positions on undocumented immigrants, just DACA since that is the most pertinent issue at hand.

They should at least allow travel and revoke the 10 year ban for us so that we can adjust some other way... you know, get back in line...

If Trump wants his wall, now until November is his best chance to get it.
If the Democrats want Trump to sign an immigration bill, now until November is their best chance to get it. They can pass a much better bill after November (if the Blue Wave happens), but then they risk Trump not signing it.

With the result of the special election being as embarrassing as it was for Trump, the best play might be to get a good but not great bill now knowing full well that Trump will be a lame duck 2 years into his presidency and prevent him from making things worse until 2020 after which a REAL immigration reform bill can be passed and signed.

The other option is to play hardball and punish him and Republicans for rejecting the Dream Act like bills earlier and give him nothing and then make him a lame duck for 2 years. That would require a strong stomach however.
