I believe Trump would do more for DACA then a blue wave would by 2020. A blame wave will just cause a lame duck, which is the ultimate Democratic goal up until the election. At least Trump made it clear he wants his wall for any relief for DACA.

not setting myself up yet for another deception

will cheer accordingly when it happens , if it happens.

Even if it does happen, I doubt things will change because Trump will probably show some spine. Congress is shit. Democrats did not want to hold their ground on a shutdown as minority party. I doubt they will force a shutdown as a majority in Congress. This issue is going beyond 2020 guys.

Just hope Trump does not get re-elected.

Republicans know that if they lose congress is game over for their agenda not only on immigration, so it has to get done before midterms.
If democrats get congress and no solution is reached by then, we better get ready for the blame game even on this forum. Looking good for us. Lets be patient.
