Going through everyone's comment about how USCIS is going by expiration dates; it raises the question, then how come some folks have already renewed way before their early renewal window?

Well there’s a lot of unknowns given the current lawsuit from Texas. I think the general consensus for the very early renewals is that if a stay is granted on all existing injunctions, then we would possibly be grandfathered in to have our renewals processed and expire in 2020 rather than 2019.

But it seems like given the current pattern of renewals of being processed 150 days from expiration and the timing of the stay coming at the end of July, the Trump administration ensured that EADs up through the midterm elections would be renewed and the expiration’s actually don’t start until late December.

But who knows

I’m in the same boat. I expire 8/19, but I don’t know what to do or what’s going to happen with the Texas lawsuit this summer.

Sent in my renewal yesterday. It is scheduled to arrive on Monday. I quadruple checked it and I am still worried that I did something wrong. I expire 2/2019 and my last renewal only took six weeks but I hope that this time it takes a bit longer. I am hoping to get approved before it expires.
