How sad is that all we care about is whether he was "one of us"? Mollie was as young and beautiful as my girlfriend and I know I couldn't live without her. I hope this criminal gets the maximum sentence allowed by law.

So what if she was slightly older and a little on the unattractive side (physically), it would be slightly more ok brother?

Seems like you've been watching a lot of Fox News lately, where they take one word and turn it completely out of context.

Yeah actually, I have been watching their feed to see how they're spinning the Manafort and Cohen stories from yesterday. For the most part, it has taken a lower priority - no surprise there.

No, I disagree. You brought up the fact that she was young and beautiful. so I'm taking the context from you - Personally, I think its irrelevant that she was young and beautiful - a human life loss is a tragedy regardless of race, color, creed, physical appearance and age.

If one of us got killed or deported, would have she cared?

No.

Just something to think about.

Colored folk disappeared and sometimes are found dead and no one cares. Some white girl disappeared and the entire country starts to look for her? And when she’s sound dead now it’s National news?

Seems like you know Mollie really well to answer your own question. Here's another to think about. Selflessness > selfishness.

I really hope you don't have a sister or girlfriend.

Yes and no. And both are actually a lot more similar than you think.

Just to get it out of the way - an example where selflessness can ruin you.

I know a good man, who owned about 10 houses in the bay area and apartment complexes...he was your typical nice guy that put other people's needs ahead of his.

Well, he ended up losing all but two of the houses and he filed for bankruptcy - why? Because his tenants were having trouble paying the rent and some of them had children - he let them slide for one month, and one month turned into two, then two to 6 - he didn't have the heart in him to evict them and at the end of this, he was the one that paid dearly.

An example where being selfish isn't necessarily a bad thing. When you are on a plane, they instruct you to put on your own mask, before helping others - Reason? Because if you can't save yourself, you cannot save others. Keep in mind that this is applies in many aspects of life.

Regarding selflessness, some 'nice' people do it because they want to feel good about themselves, thus selflessness becoming selfish. Sometimes, some of these nice people will be walked all over and become angry people, when they are not appreciated or their kindness is not reciprocated.

I used to once think like you man, so I get where you are coming from]- but it aint black and white all the time.
