Republicans have to offer that and pass it with enough bipartisan support Drumpf would be "forced" to sign said bill into law.

Last Feb there were 4 proposals and he overplayed his hand and picked the shittiest, DOA "deal" to be had (Shitlatte). This scenario would only involve one bill being proposed.

How are you guys defining path to citizenship?

Because if you guys think the Republicans definition of path to citizenship is DACA recipients being automatically grandfathered in you re all for a nasty surprise. |

This is the Republicans idea of path to citizenship

20 years of conditions residency
Must not use ANY state or Federal benefits (yes that includes education tax credits or any state financial aid)
Internal Enforcement
Must Pay Back Taxes
4 Pillars

you know stuff Democrats and no dreamer with DACA with brains would ever agree to

Permanent Green Card is fine. No need for citizenship.

The problem is the media also. Lets say trump does decide to give us a path to residency/citizenship for 5.7 billion the media will be like there goes the master negotiator last year the dems offered him 25billion and he didnt take it blah blah ArT Of DeAl. That would get under trumps skin and millers.

But Pelosi said she has identified a few policy areas where Democrats can work with the president — lowering prescription drug prices, protecting people with pre-existing conditions and perhaps rebuilding the country’s highways and transit systems. Trump mentioned these issues during the State of the Union.

We are a 2020 presidential campaign issue again. Nothing is going to happen in a while. I’m going to bid farewell to this community. Been coming here since 2006 and now it’s 2019 smh . Plan B it is !

Miller makes it literally impossible to get anything on immigration done. She's just choosing her battles.

We'll still have DACA for at least another 2 years, hopefully it's long enough to outlast this whole fiasco.
