Why are people even surprised....UWD is going to wage a massive war against Dream Act. This is literally a threat to their existence. They do not want anything to pass.

Its like he doesnt want us to get fixed, he keeps trying the same bs every time, he KNOWS that a standalone bill for us is needed after 20 fkin years and still tries the same thing over and over again.

IMO the real solution forward is immediate piecemeal legislation for Dreamers and then move on to CIR.

A magnificient deal can be reached if we keep the radical right wingers (Cotton and Co.) and the radical left (Omar, UWD etc...) out of the negotations!
bro, they shouldve started with essential workers that are dreamers on the covid-19 bill with the $1400.. the dems were such pussies by not adding it. thats what pissed me off.

It's not about them being pussies. Its most likely that they just can't let go of it....and UWD is going to try their level best to capitalize on this weakness believe me..they are going to take this to the last minute. The only person I trust is Joey, he is the only one who can tell his party enough is enough and get something passed for Dreamers asap.

especially when it just passed the Senate 51-50 w/zero GOP support. Like, why compromise bills if you're going to get zero votes anyway?

Why does every thread end up being filled with insults? I will start banning people if it doesn't stop.
