The age limit is purposely left like that so they can negotiate. GOP will offer a number and the Dems will counter offer. This way the GOP will need to show their hand first and so the other side can get a feel of where they are at. If dems would have given a time frame, it gives the GOP more leverage to negotiate.

Nope, USA doesn't need any more ignorant Latino's For Trump.

The US needs a broad Dream Act, and selfish ignorants like you should consider yourself lucky to benefit from it. If it was up to me, it would based on your history with the IRS... a lot of of the selfishness in this group would thin out.

I have a better idea, let's do a Dream Act based on your IRS history and potential to contribute. Something a long those lines will thin out the heard, that will move a lot of the loud ones to the back of the line.

Either you have an advance degree in a STEM, or high income earner... lets sent everybody else to the back of the line and see who truly can contribute to the USofA.

There is too much entitlement going around of "me first"

You better pray that there is no grammar test or the one excluded would be you.

Even though you may have to go back to school for sentence formation, I support your views!

Dreamers saying they are better than other Dreamers just so they can get theirs.

We're all on the same boat, jackasses. Do you think the GOP members whose votes are needed to make legislation happen actually care that you have a STEM degree or that you're making hot cash and productively contributing to the US? LOL, you are all blind and fooled.

The original Dream Act is fair and sensible. That is what is true and matters. You are falling for the GOP's trickery by turing on each other like rabid, starving dogs trying to fight for a chicken drumstick tossed to the group.

The real highlight here is why Congress can't pass the Dream Act, which is fair and sensible. Take all your energy and frustration to Congress for that rather than tossing your fellow dreamer under the bus.

Bunch of senseless duchebags up in here.

All Dreamers with good moral character and no criminal backgrounds should be legalized immediately together, including the aged out Dreamers. A massive deal will be needed to accomplish that. Grandpa Joey should leverage his past senate experience and cut deals with GOPers and the Blue Dog Dems to provide the necessary votes. He needs to push back to the radical left wingers who want "immediate citizenship, Clean DA, and no border security" and right wing psychos who are against "amnesty".

Of incredible proportions. Because Dream Act has been long elusive. It will require herculean compromise (I'd dub it the Great Dreamer Compromise of 2021) by the President. If he has the will (and I believe he does based on my analysis of his actions and rhetoric), he can get it done.

One thing is for sure, there will be strong opposition (from radical right headed by Tom Cotton/Teddy Cruz and Co. and their counterpart the radical lefties headed by Omar/Tlaib/AOC who will push for "immediate open borders for all"). What remains to be seen is whether Chuckster and Nancy can get their caucus in order. Poor Durbin is just waiting on standby to get the go ahead to push DA through.

It never cease to amaze me of the selfishness with with some dreamers who just refuse to stop acting like they are the only ones worthy of escaping the misery of being undocumented. Like STFU and be happy you are getting relief and stop acting like you have any right to police who else benefits from it.
