Nah. My mom and step dad got married less than a year after they started dating. She's Asian and he's white as white can be. They didn't have a problem getting her a green card.

I emailed NILC when it was 107 days with no approval, and got this email saying that I have to wait until it becomes 120 days with no approval. Is this true?
So if it becomes 120 days, do they flag your case and does it get approved before the expire date?
I think the email says that they will raise my case before expire which means it will get approved after expire date.

"Hi. Though there have been some delays, for the most part USCIS is processing renewals within the normal 120 days. If you still haven't heard anything after 120 days, contact us again and we may be able to raise your case with USCIS. Our staffers working on DACA renewals have been raising them in time before they expire."

Oh man. Hang in there! I know the feeling. Just a curiosity, did your mom (green card) petition you or step dad (US. citizen) petition you?
