As for resenting your parents.... I do resent my dad. Something that has been hard for me to deal with. He let the process drag on and when I pushed for it to happen, he got his green card when I had just turned 21! Well I've paid my dues and hope it'll be over soon.
I already started my career, and I was on my way to pivoting and starting a different path (from accounting to finance). This kind of problem makes me feel like I'm just going to keep starting and stopping my career for the next 6-8 years. Is that worth it?

Sometimes I consider moving to Canada or Australia or Singapore, but I'm worried that the second I move, US will pass CIR or something, and I will miss out.

By the time I adjust my status, my 20s will have been wasted, and I have so much catching up to do.

Do you guys ever resent your parents for getting documented before you? Because you can contribute way more than your parents can because you're younger, and you are presumably better educated.
You also need to figure it out the 10-year ban waiver. If you spent more than a year (I Believe) with illegal status, and that's after you turn 18, USCIS puts you on the black list to adjust status inside the country, this is what happened to me with my parents petition. I came here with a tourist visa and i overstayed when I was just 14 (hence the dreamer status). Nevertheless, USCIS has extended the petition to ban the waive for kids of permanent residents. Before it was just underage kids, spouses, or parents of US citizens. The rest had to leave the country, try to get the waiver (which is they are not likely to give it to you), so you just had to wait the 10-year ban. My priority status is March 2010, which is estimated late this year, or next. I will have to apply for the waiver first with this new law (thank God!), otherwise i need me to find a spouse haha. I hope I will be able to get the waiver and adjust my status next year. Fingers crossed

I think if you travel on AP, you can get it waived that way, right?

Well I arrived at 10 years old, but I didn't get DACA until I was 20 and my mom petitioned for me at 23...so doesn't that mean I already don't qualify for the waiver?

The AP is not considered a inspected entrance, I asked my lawyer, our status is just provisional. Talk to a lawyer as you get close to your priority date. If you came inspected with a visa, the most likely chance is that you will adjust through your partner, but new law will also help you, as long as they dont get rid of it. Check with a lawyer as you get close to your priority date, and call National Visa Center once a year to check on your app status.

The reason is not established because DACA is new, there is not law that says DACE AP is considered an inspected entrance, so we would need to see somebody try adjust status after AP. At the end, USCIS will decide yes or no on the waiver. It all depends on the inspector who handles your case. But again now you can waive it inside the country so you are good! I am 30 now, I think my AOS is due haha. Otherwise I am gonna start proposing to all my friends LOL

Some people can adjust if they have 245i grandfathered from thier parents if their parents jad a petition filed for themselves and you as a derviative prior to 2001. Then you can use that to adjust status from here.

USCIS did release some expansion of the i601 waiver recently to allow for more people to get a hardship waiver if it is a family based sponsorship.

Currently not at home but will post later today. Can someone corroborate his statement about being able to use the notice of approval letter?
