Are we okay with just using the same forms as two years ago?

Did you ship it out via USPS on Tuesday? Because I did too with USPS Express and it was suppose to be delivered on Wednesday at 10:30 am. However, today is Friday and its still under “in transit to its final destination.” Hopefully my renewal gets delivered today. If not I’m gonna start worrying.

Does anyone know why USCIS doesen’t notify us when they received our renewals, especially when we unclude form G-1145? They did not notify last renewal.

My EAD expires March 9th.
Missed the March 5th cutoff for the October 5th submittal by a few days.

There are 49 days left until my EAD expires and have informed my work of the situation and that I will likely have a period of time when I cannot work. They worked with me two years ago when my renewal was delayed and I missed a few weeks.

Has DHS/USCIS said anything about new expected processing times? I imagine they will be overwhelmed as 9 months worth of people all at once after the injunction (3 months since Oct 5th + 6 months worth of people applying their normal 150 days in advance). Have they staffed up to accommodate the influx of applications.

Also, also I see some people on this forum have applied or are planning to apply for renewal for EADs expiring in Aug-oct. Is the 120-150 days before expiration not adhered to as strictly anymore?

I believe the forms are correct. Your money order or personal check should be for $495, and yes include 2 passport photos with your alien # and name on the back.
