When she called she also said that it would take about 24 hours for me to see the tracking number, but this actually didn't happen. I did call a couple of times to speak with a T2 to see if they would have this information, but they didn't. When I saw the envelope yesterday it came as a full surprise, since the system still said card is in production as of yesterday morning. It was only until yesterday late afternoon that it changed to card delivered.
I see. That's good! When you called a T2 officer when ELIS was still not updated with approval, did they confirm your approval or were they less informed than your infopass officer?

Not the T1, but the T2 did see my approval and the card was in production. But they couldn't see any tracking or anything. To be honest I feel like the info pass officers have a little more access to info, since she did email my case officer directly though.

Did she ever explain why it was taking so long?
Thanks and congrats.

Just wanted to give an update, I received my EAD yesterday, below is my timeline:

Application Sent: 4/11/16
Application officially accepted and received: 4/14/16
Biometrics: 5/5/16
InfoPass Appointment: 8/15/16
DACA Approved: 8/25/16
EAD Received: 9/3/16
Expiration date: 9/10/16

Total Processing time of 145 days, End to end.

I submitted 3 service requests, NILC Case, Ombudsman Case, Congressman case and one infopass Appointment. To be honest I feel like the infopass appointment was the most useful in my case, the officer that helped me was the most helpful, she told me she was going to contact my case officer and get my case pushed, and she would give me call the moment she heard from the officer and when I would get approved, she said that it would be about a week for me to hear from her, and that's exactly what happened -- she called on 8/24/16 and told me that I was approved and my card was going to production. I feel so lucky because I have read many instances of the officers not being helpful, and this person was the most amazing officer I could have asked for.

Good luck to everyone and hang in there - you are all still in my thoughts!

If Trump doesn't get elected, see you all in 2 years

Jeez what a clusterfuck this process has been! I feel truly horrible for those whose DACA expired today and has been expired for a while. All I can say is hang in there and I know it's a horrible feeling. I was in the same boat just a few weeks ago and it's not a good place to be in. You guys will get approved sooner or later.

I am still here waiting but I realized that some people have it worse than me in so many ways. Thank God I am healthy and this is just a small hold back once I am approved my life can go back to "normal" but some people out there can't say the same.

she didn't really offer any explanation -- I think when she called me I was so excited and couldn't stop thanking her and didn't even think to ask really. Keep my fingers crossed for all of you still waiting on approvals and cards

For a lot of us it has been a rude awakening. I feel that it is a good heads up, I feel really bad for people who have expired, but seeing it happen is a huge wake up call for us.

I really hope the people who apply in Feb-May can receive their renewals asap. I myself applied late, within 119 days instead of 150 as recommended. If I had applied on time I would be in with the early May Dreamers. It is not fair for those who followed the guidelines at all.

The worst of all is that for many, while we wait we are still thinking about the Election. Struggle after struggle. I hope soon we can all find our way.

I keep hoping for everyone to get their notices.
Yes I came to realize this too but it's rather hard for me to adjust my status, even if im a beneficiary under 245i. I mean being here almost 3 decades and no adjustment of status is rather long. And tell you how broken the immigration system is. Being able to have daca relieved some stress but also brought even more. But thats how life is sometimes, regardless of what you do.
Just have to stay positive strife for better life.

Do you know how she was able to identify your case manager? For my info pass I was in and out in less than five minutes. The agent told me "I don't know you they keep telling you guys to come, we can't do anything" then proceeded to tell me that my case was being processed and that was all she could see and nothing else she could do. When I gently pushed back and told her I was about to lose my job she said "I'm
Sorry there's nothing I can do"
