No questions asked... planning to apply again so i can visit my mother again in august... since she is been sick.. |

Hello everyone 
i have been visiting this site for a long time now and it has been very helpful. It gave me courage to go ahead and apply for advance parole to go see my sick grandpa in Guadalajara, Mexico.
I applied sent my AP application on February 24 and they received it on February 26. My case status changed to "My document was sent to me" on March 17 ! i have read that means approved! i am hoping to recieve it this coming week and God willing i will be seeing my grandpa and my family i left behind 11 years ago.
i have been visiting this site for a long time now and it has been very helpful. It gave me courage to go ahead and apply for advance parole to go see my sick grandpa in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Hi DACA fam! Glory be to God! I received my Advance Parole documents in the mail 2/20/2016! It took less than two months for them to approve my case. It was weird because I signed up for notifications and I wasn't notified it was approved. I just received the docs. I didn't get any follow-up questions, so the original application and supporting documents (a 35-page packet) were sufficient. I requested one month and they approved the exact dates, no less, no more. I wish I had requested a larger time frame because now the original dates I planned to travel have changed due to work. I have already booked my flight to the Philippines as of today. I cannot believe I will be meeting my biological family for the first time  I plan to document the experience on YouTube. Even though this forum has been a holy grail for me, I think it will be helpful for all future AP applicants to see the process truly documented. I'll post the links up once I get the channel going. |
