I asked to transfer to a Tier 2 just now and she wouldn't let me because "she had the same tools to deal with my service request".

I just straightforwardly told her she didn't and I've been waiting over 30 days now to hear back from my service request and I was expired. Told her also the tier 1 from yesterday told me to call today to talk to a Tier 2 because they were "flooded with calls".

She transferred me after taking down my info and giving me the SAME information I already fucking knew. Took me everything not to curse and tell her to just transfer me to the god damn tier 2

Also I forgot to mention estimated wait time for tier 2 right now is 300 minutes = 5 hours which in USCIS time is actually 3x that so I might not actually get a call back today

I wish they would be more transparent about their flagging process, because I want to know what they actually do with our receipt numbers and how USCIS responds.
Following this thread closely for last 2 months or so. NILC has probably gotten the ball moving better than other routes, but recent effectiveness maybe slipping.
Guesswork, but I think they have a POC at USCIS HQ who they forward the details, and it goes thru the chain atleast forcing a review by officer. If everything is set to go, officer pulls the approval plug, else gets into dormant queue.

Finally approved!

Here is my timeline
Application received 5/6/16
Bio appt 6/20/16
Approved 9/7/2016

I email through Elis and never received an answer. What seemed to worked the most was using their inquiry on a case through USCIS, I got an answer on 9/6/16 and got approved today

Your USCIS Account Number (A-number):
-- Information not available

Type of service requested:
-- Beyond Regulatory Time Frame

The status of this service request is:

The Nebraska Service Center (NSC) is closely monitoring the expiration dates of initial Form I-821D, Consideration for Deferred action for Childhood Arrivals, and Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization Document. We are working the renewals in the order of previous card expirations. There is no authorization to allow expedited processing of the renewals. However, if your card is a few days away from expiring and your case was filed at least four months prior we will review the case to ensure it is in proper placement. You must also have attended your biometrics appointment at the Application Support Center.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

That was their reply yesterday

I was also scheduled on 9/14. Do you mind taking a screenshot of what you see (cover up receipt numbers, etc.) - I don't see that in my account. When's your expiration date?

I just got a replied back from a T1 service request on my I-821D. The response is below,

Quote:
The status of this service request is:

We have received your inquiry stating that your Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (Form I-821D) is beyond the expected six month processing period. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is making every effort to process these cases within the stated time frame and hope to adjudicate your case in the near future. However, at this time we cannot provide a specific date on which a final decision will be made on your request for deferred action.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

This was originally sent to CSC but in the reply NSC replied. FML!!!

I expire 10/26 and it took a month and a half just to get my bio scheduled. I got 49 days but seeing how messed up USCIS is, everyday has been hell. The screenshot is from viewing your case detail in a "new" USCIS account version. The "older" version doesn't include your bio date for some reason.

This is the reply they send you when you're actually outside processing time? I don't know why I expected anything useful. Funny because USCIS made it seem like "outside processing time" was some mythical entity that you would eventually encounter if you wait long enough and you'll get your EAD right after
