Ok, here it goes,

I got my advance parole papers on 3/27

i was very skeptical of going because i had an arrest when i was a juvenile. I didnt go to court and all i did was one class so i was never convicted. I went to see a lawyer and he said that the arrest will show up but it was nothing inadmissible to worry about. As long it was nothing like deportation orders or gang related or drug charges that i should be fine.

I'm not gonna lie, im super scared but i need to clear my EWI,

i will keep everyone posted, i plan to drive to San Luis AZ on Friday Morning and also come back the same day. My wife and daughter will be with me, so i hope that helps.

Well....I just came back and the entry was succesful. But it was really nerve wrecking, my wife and I just drove across the border to San Luis. We were there for like maybe 30 mins. ..then we got in the line and we lasted there for like an hour. At the entry the officer asked me the reason of going to Mexico and how long I was there for and when was the last time I had gone. After all that he told me proceed to secondary inspection, which I did. This first step was easy. At the second inspection I was escorted by another officer who took me to a building, he did not make any small talk, he was cool but he just didn't want to make conversation, so that step was easy too. Now at the building I was greeted by another officer , this is were it gets tricky. She did not know how I got DACA, she did not understand why I had a AP DOCUMENT and not a combo ead/card. But on the other hand she kept reading the document and saying......well it looks legit...so just wait. I waited almost 2 hours. Then she called me back to do the finger prints. Then she said, ok....so how did you get this DACA benefit and why did you get AP for only one time? So I responded the usual stuff...then she said ok now why did you give me 2 papers. I was like man I think she's messing with me lol. So I told her, your supposed to stamp one and give it to me and you keep the other. So she seemed confused again. ...she told me to wait again and that she was gonna stamp my ap but that she needed to go get some clarification. So she came back and she told me that she didn't know when to parole me unto? She didn't know if to parole me until the end of my DACA or for just a day . She did neither, she paroled me until the prior travel date of my ap. So she gave me my stamped paper and she kept the other.

Very very weird.....I actually told her to Google it cause she had no clue. Either that or she was messing with me the whole time. Kinda reminded me of that movie super troopers. ....

Any how...I had a juvenile offense for theft when I was young...I was really afraid that I was not gonna make it....but honestly for whoever has a juvenile record. I don't want to give you hope. I guess every case is different depending on the poe officer.

And like I said.....I was in line trying to cross for like an hour. ...I just can't believe that no one knows about DACA or has used AP at that poe

So I cleared my EWI...I am married so I will be applying soon. Hopefully I get my residence this year......and become a citizen in 3....
