This election should make the democrats really look at themselves in the mirror. The fact that Hispanics went for Trump is a huge cause for concern in later elections.

The 2020 "blue wave" is the biggest copium I've seen. It's very surprising that with the current state of the economy and the amount of deaths, it's this close.

Very inciteful. Can you pinpoint in what areas in particular? Perhaps Miami Dade County in Florida? It does seem like there were some gains made in Arizona's Maricopa County however. I think its that special flair about Trump that made people go to him, not necessarily just the Republican party but you're definitely on point.

BLM And the looting constantly being shown on tv was never gonna make notoriously borderline racist Latino voters go for democrats in big numbers. Democrats also cannot afford to lose the black vote. Black voters may have actually end up saving Biden.

I think its also not quite fair to say every one of those voters is "racist". Looking at the vote, it seems totally even. Trump's message just resonates with a lot of rural sun belt working class people. I'm just glad the voter turn out was YUGE this time so everyone can voice their opinion. One day we will be able to vote.

Trump had an outstanding ground game to close the election. I think he held maybe 20 rallies in 5 days.

Lets not forget that covid depress voter turn out to a certain degree. Dem more so then GOP

If Biden wins the election, I hope the Democrats don’t become naive thinking their okay for future elections. They have a lot of work to do with African Americans and Hispanic voters and they need to stop taking the blue wall for granted.

I've always despised El Pendejo Marquito Rubio..worst Senator, biggest wannabe "immigrant supporter" of all time. Him along with Ted Cruz...I'm glad Trump mopped the floor with them.

Miami Dade for sure. The Florida race is an absolute disaster for dems. Texas should've been closer too. AZ and I guess you can say CA are the "exceptions" but the trend is very worrying. Considering the actions the Trump administration has taken towards latinos, the % of votes for dems should be on par with black voters. The fact that this is not happening and actually trending republican is very worrying. The latino voter population is growing as well.

The dems will have to fight tooth and nail every election while republicans will sit comfy, chuckling from their 6-3 SC court. This election is not the rejection of Trump dems were hoping for, it's barely a "meh". Trump's way of politics is clearly here to say and that heavily favors the republicans.
