Guys,

I have an InfoPass this Monday morning.
My EAD expires in 40 days, and I have still not received my Biometrics Notice.
(I applied 135 days before exp.)

Any tips for the InfoPass, so I can actually make this visit useful?

Thanks,

There's some mixed reviews about infopasses. A couple have gotten approved or gotten their bios scheduled right after their visit while some get what we've been getting over the phone.

I have one scheduled for this Friday (I expired 9/4) and hoping an angel will be there(: I'll let you know how it goes.

That's what I'm going to do. I just didn't reply right away because I needed to think about my wording (don't want to sound insulting in any way)

So I replied to her email and I got this automated reply:

If your email is pertaining to a delayed DACA case, please submit a case inquiry request via the Customer Contact Center at https://my.uscis.gov/account/needhelp (unauthenticated) or log into your online account for specific case inquiries and contact us at https://my.uscis.gov/account/inbox (authenticated).
Thanks,

Bertha

I guess she has been getting tons of emails.

Must be, because I got the same automatic reply. So it seems like USCIS has been getting frequent contact about the delay, either by individuals or by organizations (NILC and IRLC). They are either going to fix this faster, or they're going to start shutting us out without even trying to fix it.

My money is on the latter. Congrats to everyone else who just got approved. God help the rest of us; better hunker down for a longer wait.

I feel like they should at least monitor/expedite those that have been contacting their every angle. At work, you just have to deal with the problem first then go on with the show. Idk about them. Everyday I'll start off still hoping and praying for good news though!

Read that, everyone. Ombudsman and InfoPass appointments are of "limited helpfulness" for our delays.

I also just sent an email to Jose Magana-Salgado, basically asking ILRC to flag my case.

Also, here is the email that I got from Shiu-Ming just now:

Hi,

Thanks for sharing that info. I just wanted to inform you that we flagged your case to USCIS today. What that means is that we have alerted USCIS that there's a delay in your case and asked that they contact you directly to provide you with an update on your case. If you don’t hear back from USCIS by the end of this week let me know.

I understand this process is frustrating. However, we kindly ask that you please contact our office only if there's movement on your case such as if your case gets approved or a USCIS representative did contact you with an update. We are working on many cases and are unable to respond right away to other questions. I will contact you if we have any updates on our end.

Did you get an automatic reply for him as well? Can it be us emailing them or does it have to be a "practitioner"?

They're even acknowledging technical difficulties in making service requests! Come on now
