Following the approval of the Form I-765, the data pertaining to that case was submitted for the production of the Employment Authorization Document (EAD). However, it appears that the EAD was never produced. We have forwarded your concerns to the DACA supervisor for review and action. If you do not receive the EAD within two weeks, you may wish to contact us for an update."

So it seems that there is a EAD production issue. Hopefully this raises some attention to them and makes them produce the EAD!
How long did it take NSC to respond to your email?

My request through the ELIS email account brought up my SR and told me to just wait...

It was a bit odd that NSC responded in three days. I sent the email on monday to [email protected]
From the email chain it seems SCOPSSCATA forwarded it to NSC the same day and NSC responded today morning. So three days o.O

Interesting. I also sent my SCOPSSCATA email on Monday. Hopefully my response is coming soon, though I think they might refer to my current SR again

What time did you send the email?

At this point, I haven't heard back from my congressman's office, NILC, nor ILRC regarding my EAD status. I don't think they will be as useful this time around.

I included my receipt # for I-765, date that i filed it and date it was approved. I gave a description that it has been more than 2 weeks since my EAD card production was intitated. I also wrote that I am not getting updates on ELIS or case tracker and that it is unacceptable of USCIS to be delayed given that my application was submitted in april as early as possible. I mentioned that my EAD expired on 8/17/16 and the delays by USCIS Nebraska Center is putting me at risk of losing my job, negatively impacting my career and creating financial burden. I requested that they give me a clear timeline for production of the EAD and mailing it out.

Basically i made it sound that USCIS nebaska center was not cooperating with me properly and they need to provide a better answer to whats causing the delay.

update from my congresswomans office:

Quote:
I received a response this morning from the Nebraska Service Center regarding your EAD card. What they said was that your EAD has not yet been produced. The “DACA team and the DACA supervisor are aware of the issue and are trying to work as quickly as possible to resolve this issue.” They said they do not have an estimated timeframe as to how long it will take to get your EAD produced.

I know this is not the answer we hoped for but I am at least glad that their DACA supervisor is also aware of the issue and hopefully will be taking a personal interest in seeing that your EAD is produced as soon as possible. I would still appreciate if you let me know when you receive they physical EAD card. If in two weeks you still have not received it please contact me again and I will require as to the status.

Sincerely,
Christian Mora-Castrellón
Congressional Assistant
Office of Congresswoman Zoe Lofgre

^ Gabe, to be fair, NSC seems to have given you a more detailed answer than that, right? They told you about your passport photos.

But good lord, that is frustrating as hell. No estimated timeframe? Is USCIS going to be held responsible for lost wages? What assholes.
