This renewal delay is a hurdle in our lives but we have overcame so much more. We are the epitome of the American Dream. We should all be proud of ourselves. Everyone hang in there

I was approved yesterday and I still have not gotten any texts or emails. Also, ELIS is still the only place the approval shows. The dates haven't updated either and I don't have access to the approval letter to download yet.

We had to work so much harder than everyone else for similar things and to get to where a lot of us are today. I honestly feel like we are much more productive members (from reading the posts here) of the society than others. Since I started working a couple years ago, I have contributed quite a bit in taxes (bet they not complaining about that). And were we supposed to tell our parents, etc. no to coming and staying here when we were little kids lol?

Yeah, all of these people who came over at four years old should TOTALLY go back to countries where they don't speak the language, couldn't work, couldn't go to school and can be homeless and maybe die on the streets (for those who have no connections back in their birth country.) Because they totally worked as toddlers against REAL AMERICANS to STEAL ALL OF THEIR JOBS AND WOMEN!!!!11

(this is sarcasm, if anyone is missing it._

Your sarcasm needs work. I thought you were serious until I read the last line.

I agree, we have worked harder than most people to get where we are. But, there are a lot of closed minded people in this world. Even if you explain to them that we have been paying taxes, not committing any crimes, etc. they just ignore it. We have been labeled as "illegals," that is all that matters to them.

We just have to persevere, hopefully immigration reform is just around the corner.

I love how people like that also act like marrying a citizen is some sort of dirty sin. How dare you marry one of our trueborn Americans to evade your criminal scum life.

Only like 5 members of my family know my boyfriends status because some of them are like the people in that comment section. I figure I'll announce it on our first borns onesies. Put an anchor on them or something lmao and start some drama.
