Thats it. Im going to call them today. Had enough of waiting. I suggest you guys do the same. Cant hurt to call. I hope they dont take it the wrong way when Im going to start complaining.

All I want to do is get a JOB and live like a human being. Is that too much to ask?

So I was checking my status online and I have also been checking to see if any official processing times have been added to the service center lists and I saw this:

The 90-day period for reviewing Form I-765 filed together with Form I-821D begins if and when USCIS decides whether to defer action in your case.

I thought that was kind of interesting since so far everyone has been getting approved at the same time, so how are we supposed to know if the decision has been made to defer action and can now wait 90 days?? Unless I'm misunderstanding, I didn't think this was very helpful, and that it's is just a way for them to avoid our questions when we call for more info....pretty dissapointing.....

Tell me about it.

Just called them and I got a polite lady to speak to and she tried to give me a expedite request but then she put me on hold. Later told me that expedites are not given to deferred action cases.

So sad after the phone call.

These representatives can't do anything.

I really hope we dont wait until February. By then I might be living under a bridge somewhere and never get my EAD.
This is the response I got after calling on my 90th day.

The status of this service request is:

Your case is currently under review with an Officer. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 15-30 days of the date of this letter.

If you have any further questions, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

After comparing it with many other and finding out that they have a list of possible responses to pick and choose from I gave up hope and stopped caring.... sending a service request doesn't really do much in our case. Not considering the 6 month time frame they gave us... even though it obviously isn't taking that long for like 95% of the cases... Just going to look for a temp job and wait for the 6 month mark on feb 15th... SMDH....

I will hit the 4 month mark pretty soon.
But I have a quick question.

I used to live in an apartment complex of which no longer
exist. They were teared down and in place a luxury hotel
built therein.
I put the street address and city but I stated in the app
that they no longer exist.
In any ones opinion could lead to
more of a delay of my application?

I do not have any evidence that I lived there
because it was a long time ago, and moved
around many times within the apartment
complex and do not recall which exact apartment
numbers I used to reside therein so I did not put
what apartment number(s) I lived in.

To tell you the truth no one knows why and how its taking so long for some of us. For example, my case is clean as can be and still not approved.

And how long ago was this? I think they only require 5 years of evidence before June 15th, 2012.

They're alive!
Two days after hitting my 90 day mark (since they received my app) the status changed from "Initial Review" to nothing at all. I was getting sick of seeing the same blue circle above initial review. None of them are selected now because they just sent me an RFE.

Not quite what I was hoping for but there's comfort in knowing they're working on it. Now I'm going to go stand by the door and wait for the mail so I can figure out what kind of evidence they want.
